First night challenge: Deep Water by Carolyn Claire

Oops! I submitted a last-minute drabble, last night, because I'd forgotten about the deadline and the admin post hadn't come down and I wanted to do something...and I accidently posted it to my own journal. Heh. Will delete it there and post it here, anyway, and if it's five kinds of wrong to do that, now, go ahead and delete, lords of admin. *blushes* It's only a drabble, poor little thing.

May spoil through eps shown in the US to this point (what are we up to, Letters from Pegasus?) Rated G, 100 words.

Relative Positions, by Merry. Sheppard/McKay. G.

First Night Challenge: Relative Positions
Challenge: First Night In Atlantis
Category: Sheppard/McKay. Pre-slash. ish. Okay, gen. But in my head, they're thinking about it.
Rating: G
Author: Merry ([livejournal.com profile] merryish)
Notes: Many many thanks [livejournal.com profile] cesperanza, [livejournal.com profile] astolat, [livejournal.com profile] kaneko and [livejournal.com profile] flambeau for beta and fond abuse. Also this is over 1000 words. I did it on purpose. To illustrate that, um. It's okay. to go over 1000 words. It is!
Summary: Sheppard pops the question.

Distraction by Kathryn Arwen

Title: Distraction
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kathryn_arwen
Challenge: First Night Challenge
Rating: PG
Category: Gen, mostly...but as John says in this fic: 'if you tilt you head to a certain angle and maybe squint a bit' you might see some pre-slash creeping in. *g*
Disclaimer: Don't own them [damnit!], just borrowing.
Summary: John, trying not to be angsty and tired. Rodney, being longwinded and insightful. And a balcony.

Unbeta'd, unfortunately. This is my first fic in this fandom, so if someone would like to volunteer, I'd welcome you! ^_^ Also, any constructive criticism is welcomed as well.

This is quite a bit over 1000 words, but it just wouldn't stop. I tried, really I did. ^_^;;;

Distraction )

Now I'm off to read everyone else's entries. Ta! ^_^

Summary: Sheppard's got Sumner's dogtags, but now Bates has his job.

It Breathes by Koanju (First Night Challenge)

Title: It Breathes
Author: Koanju
Rating: PG
Summary: In the walls, there are ghosts. In the mind, there are whispers. Gen, Sheppard, Atlantis
Notes: This came out a little different than I was intending. I think it's the lack of sleep. It's tangentially related to Prime/Not Prime, a longer fic [livejournal.com profile] saeva and I are co-writing.

In high school, people thought Johnny Sheppard was kind of stupid. )

Teambuilding by Kiara Sayre

Title: Teambuilding
Author: Kiara Sayre
Rating: PG for language (just BS, and it's fuller form)
Disclaimer: Not mine...unfortunately.
Notes: Unbeta’d (though the position’s open if anyone wants it), so constructive criticism is greatly, greatly appreciated—I’m in this for pleasure, but also to get better.
Summary: So, an Air Force major, an astrophysicist, a Marine, and an alien get together for a game of BS…

You just like saying BS. )
