*snerk* citrus-free lemons, manly regions, *hand* maidens
I shouldn't have read this while eating!
I think my favorite line was
Standing up, he smiled at John, and John smiled back, and they were happy.
but it also made me wince, because I was just thinking this morning that I seem to have written an awful lot of smiles into my recent fics...
