Welcome to the Stargate Atlantis Flashfiction community here on Dreamwidth.

ds_flashfiction community and will follow roughly the same rules.
Challenges will be posted once every two weeks; you have two weeks to respond to the challenge.
The story must be posted only to sga_flashfic for the duration of the challenge. The challenge will be formally closed by the ADMIN at the end of the challenge period (or as soon as she gets around to it); you can keep posting until you see that formal closing message. After that message, no more stories for that challenge will be accepted, and you are free to crosspost your story to your own LJ, webpage, archive, or anywhere else. A new challenge will be posted shortly thereafter.
Please suggest challenges! Challenge suggestions should be posted in the comments section of previous challenges.
For your Archivist's convenience, please include "by [Your author name]" in the subject line of your post. Stories will be archived in the memories section by challenge name. Please use a cut tag; pairings, warnings, and other information is appreciated but not required. Caveat lector.
Spoiler Policy: If your story contains spoilers for any episode or season that has not yet aired in the US (currently the last major television market to get new SGA episodes), a spoiler warning should be included and visible outside of the story cut tag.
Please contribute Stargate: Atlantis stories ranging from 100 to 1000 words. (People familiar withds_flashfiction are snickering now; suffice it to say that the archivist does not police the word limit. Why don't we just say that there isno word limit? Because shorter fiction is specifically encouraged.)
However, regardless of the length of your story, please only post it in a single part -- the livejournal limit on post size is very large and should not be a problem for the flashfic; if your story exceeds that size or needs special formatting, please feel free to post it as a separate webpage and post a link to the webpage instead.
All ratings, pairings, slash, gen, you name it, is welcome here, as long as it satisfies the conditions of the challenge.
