McKay found the colonel in the SGC cafeteria, post-debriefing, dispiritedly picking at his french fries. He sat down, stole one, and grimaced.
It was almost-but-not-quite-entirely-unlike the tubers that grew on MX4-2X5.
John pushed the plate away, "Don't bother with the chicken."
"It's not like it's going to kill you, Sheppard." Rodney reached over, but paused. "Wait, it doesn't have--"
"No citrus that I could tell."
Rodney bit into a leg. It looked close enough to the giant amphibians from M25-67J that the chicken almost tasted like, but it was stringier and harder to chew. And less sweet.
Even the hair was droopy.
"Oh for the love of--stop moping! We'll be back in a week!"
Sheppard just raised an eyebrow and pretended not to stew over his coffee.

Makes me wonder when they started meaning Atlantis and not Earth when they said "home."
