Exactly! McKay's only less of an ass because we know him - when we watched him on SG-1 the first time, I'm sure most people hated him. *g*

I'm glad the quotes worked to separate the sections. I considered writing little scenes in there referencing back to the episode, but I thought the quotes were clear enough for those that have seen the ep. Thanks for the feedback.
