I've read you said girls don't like John in this fic, and well, while I can't blame them, I certainly wouldn't throw any sort of vegetables at you, because this is the first time I've read John and actually believed it could totally happen, like, not just slash fanfic, but actual, real life non-sexually-discriminating fic.
See, in fanfic it would have began slightly like this, with John being a little less of an asshole (or a man, potahto, potatoh) and by the time they were enjoying the, surprisingly wonderful sex, John would have realized he'd been in love with Rodney since ever and ever, and would have dorkily confessed said love by morning, ignoring bladders and/or morning breath.
Your version is, obviously, heaps and loads better. While I'm always for the lovely-fairytale-first-time-fic, this is a perfect John-is-a-guy-people! fic.
Loved it, in an most-men-suck kinda way.
