Your comment got me thinking that this is what John does *all the time* to Rodney. It's like John hasn't shifted out of mission mindset, when he can push and push Rodney to do something he doesn't want to do, as long as it gets things done. And really at that point, has Rodney pushed back at John beyond a lot of sound and bluster? It's kind of status quo for them.

Definitely going to chew on this.
