Well, I mean...I just didn't see it that way. I thought he was honest, and not romantic, but not every hook-up is a romance; this one wasn't. I'm just saying, you might not have put up with it, but that's your choice about what you expect from someone before you have sex with them. Personally, that's my choice, too, but that doesn't mean it's the only way to go, or that I put the burden on everybody else to act the way that makes me happiest. If someone's looking for something else, good on them and I hope they find it with somebody who's not me; I'm just saying I don't characterize it as a moral flaw on their part -- on John's part, in this particular case. Frankly, Rodney was the one who agreed to the terms of a buddy-fuck with a dishonest ulterior motive in mind, which makes him the one with the questionable ethics in this particular case, IMO. Just my two cents.
