Oh, poor Rodney! I'm so glad someone understands. Or maybe I should say I'm glad someone understands and is willing to go there with/for Rodney, since I've no doubt John understands, too. :-/ Which is in no way a criticism of the story! I think it rings very true that the stoic, manly "code" would prevent John from going there, and I really like that you have ultra-tough, ultra-manly Ronon free of such restrictions.
