This was simply stunning. The opening, with the four distinct voices, was brilliant, the way the story built from their memories, and the sheer terror of the paralysis was almost too much to read.
And the pacing of the second half, with the fear and the sorrow and the weight of memory was astonishing. Wonderful writing, powerful, gripping and overwhelming.
