*loves* This was really great... really good scenario, and you kept the guys totally in character, Rodney focusing on the endgame and running headlong towards it on adrenaline : last time it was a galaxy, this time it's saving his team.
Also loved your description of 'Braid-beard' guy... a real Stargate extra *g*

And.. is it me or is the last line just a little sad? I can almost hear the slight defensiveness and see his chin tilt.
'That made Rodney pause. "Why not?" he asked. "It's all true."'
