Oooh, I wanted to do something along these lines when I saw this challenge but definitely don't have the time. I'm glad you wrote it instead! I was worried that Rodney might have ended up in Vegas (remember how Glen said he thought most of the "techies" would wind up there? (my copy of The Stand has broken in half, I've read it so much)), but if he had, there wouldn't be much need to look for weapons, really. Why look when someone can make them?

But yeah, I'm bookmarking this. If you continue it, I'd certainly love to read more.
