Oh, I love this, it's so bleak and so intelligent that the startling hope at the end feels so stunningly earned:

That made me leap in my chair. Fantastic. I love the emotional realism of this - Teyla's anger and Rodney's helplessness and the fact that they *don't* just immediatley come together and bond against the Evil Alien Racists. Since the racists aren't aliens at all, of course, not to Rodney.
