I like this even if it's just a one-shot. It's just a nice little peak into the AU. All the characters of interest are covered and there's nice team interaction. I liked how you characterized John and Teyla's relationship, with her being his back-up in a tense situation. He would trust her with his story when everyone else would just think he was crazy. Even though she was doubtful or what she saw, she still trusted that he "believed he saw what he saw" to an extent.
