I had wondered if Rodney and the cat had been done to death, but time was pressing and I couldn't think of anyone/anything else (other than Sam Carter, and that would have turned into a novel). We know nothing about Shep's background so he was easier - and I think almost every guy would want to see his Mom. ;-)
