Title: Signs of Rapture, called Apocalypse (part the second)
Author: 2ndary_author
Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Characters: Rodney, Carson (offstage: Sheppard)

Summary: "the architectural equivalent of calling ollie, ollie, oxenfree"
Notes: A continuation of my amnesty entry, this will probably make more sense if you read that first...

Involuntary Dog by bergann (Not Human challenge)

title: Involuntary Dog (7,100 words)
by: [livejournal.com profile] bergann
pairing: McKay/Sheppard
rating/warnings: PG-13
spoilers: season 4
excerpt: "Colonel, what was that?" Carter's voice is the first thing he hears on the other side, except John is already chasing the terrier down the steps and into the hallway, while behind him he can hear Teyla state that she believed it was what Carter would call a dog.

notes: Cairn Terriers are known for being highly intelligent, stubborn and strong-willed. In addition, they're lively, strong, loyal and headstrong. Also known for sometimes being disobedient.

Which fits much better than the other dogs I originally had in mind. I am also aware that this is not really "flash" but it wouldn't END.

The Best-Laid Plans, by rhymer23 (Not human challenge)

Title: The Best-Laid Plans
Author: Eildon Rhymer ([livejournal.com profile] rhymer23)
Rating: PG
Characters: Mostly McKay and Sheppard, with some Ronon, Teyla and Zelenka. Oh, and Gandalf.
Spoilers: None for any SGA episodes. There are some vague spoilers for the plot of The Lord of the Rings, though.

Summary: A man, an elf, a dwarf and a reluctant hobbit ("I don't even get to wear boots!") go on a quest that could change the world in ways that the wise have long foreseen. Alternatively, however…

Note: I really didn't mean to do this, but once the idea of Rodney as a hobbit popped into my mind, there was really no help for me.
