Title: The Improbable Planet (Must Be Dreaming Challenge)
Author: Janne ([livejournal.com profile] bergann)
Word Count: 1,200
Pairing: Mostly gen (but has Lorne/McKay pre-slash)
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Lorne's fairly certain he's dreaming. At least, for the sake of sanity, he hopes he is.
Notes: Like the hangovers McKay and Lorne will have the morning after this fic, it can all be traced back to Doctor Who. Unlike their hangovers though, it can also be traced back to [livejournal.com profile] semirose for egging me on.

Title: Rodney McKay, Meet Death (Not Dead Yet Challenge)
Author: Janne ([livejournal.com profile] bergann)
Word Count: 2,000
Fandom: Stargate Atlantis/Discworld
Pairing: Mostly gen (but once again, light McKay/Sheppard)
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None, really. Except, uh, crack.
Summary: "Don't you know not to sneak up on a person?" Rodney shouts and the arm waving is implied, since currently Rodney's hands are occupied with the P90. "I could have killed you! Er." Rodney stops and rethinks that last statement as he stares at the cloaked figure.
Notes: After finally getting Monty Python out of my head, this appeared instead. I am not sure if this is better.

And now, with a in-comment special appearance by the Death of Rats.

Title: Ashore (Second Verse Challenge)
Author: Janne ([livejournal.com profile] bergann)
Word Count: 3,000
Pairing: Mostly gen (but definitely McKay/Sheppard preslash)
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None, really.
Summary: The people turn to stare at them, while the animals continue to stand completely still - looking bored. McKay pales a little at the sight of what looks remarkably like a saber tooth tiger.
Notes: My Ancient Greek? Not good at all, so any mistakes with the names are totally my own fault. Thanks, as always, to my betas - and to the religion class that started it all :P

Title: The Ancient History Boys: A Snippet
Author: [livejournal.com profile] bergann
Rating/Characters: PG-13. Kind of John/Rodney.
Summary: "For you or for the rooms, you heard what Elizabeth said about the Ancients."
Warnings/Spoilers: none
Notes: Unbeta'd and a sort of fusion with the movie The History Boys. If I was actually writing this, then a variation of this scene would be likely to appear. Oh, and it's silly.
Word Count: ~500

title: Involuntary Dog (7,100 words)
by: [livejournal.com profile] bergann
pairing: McKay/Sheppard
rating/warnings: PG-13
spoilers: season 4
excerpt: "Colonel, what was that?" Carter's voice is the first thing he hears on the other side, except John is already chasing the terrier down the steps and into the hallway, while behind him he can hear Teyla state that she believed it was what Carter would call a dog.

notes: Cairn Terriers are known for being highly intelligent, stubborn and strong-willed. In addition, they're lively, strong, loyal and headstrong. Also known for sometimes being disobedient.

Which fits much better than the other dogs I originally had in mind. I am also aware that this is not really "flash" but it wouldn't END.
