nudaydreamer said she wanted to see "a Second Time (or Second Chances) Challenge. I'm thinking time loops, episode rewrites, second time sex (JUST AS HOT AS FIRST TIME Y/Y?), return of one-shot characters from seasons past..."

That sounds really cool, and has inspired me to post my own challenge request: Numbers!

This could anything from characterizations - is John really a secret math genius or just a numbers geek? what about the time Teyla surprised Rodney by saving them all with calculus? - to amounts - how many Wraith ships are on the way, again? is there on upper limit on how many times and positions you can do it in while hyped up on sex pollen? - to pretty much anything else from the numbers of official SGC forms to the number and nature of unexplored rooms in Atlantis. And of course, maybe we'll finally get the dirt on the time when Rodney collaborated with a certain Dr. Eppes on a NSA project.

Oh, this is a great idea for a Challenge! I look forward to reading all the "might have been" fic that will surely come up.

Also, I've very much enjoyed reading the stories that came out of the Ancient History Challenge. If some people haven't quite finished theirs, maybe they could post them later with just a comment that they were originally intended for that Challenge? Because I would love to read more of this sort of story....

Hmmm. Crossovers?

What about a crossover challenge? Not just crossovers with other fandom 'verses, of course (cool though that would be), but 'crossover' in the sense of 'crossing over', like, crossing over to the other side, crossing over to the dark side, changing countries, switching teams, jumping universes, changing one's mind, changing one's point of view? Crossroads and paths diverging and ascending (or descending) or even just needing to get from one side to the other? What do you think? :)
