I know I suggest challenges, like, every other week here, but how about kicking off Season Five with a Five Things challenge?

Or a blast-from-the-past Season One challenge? Ford, Bates, Peter Grodin! Genii! Blundering through the galaxy like Super Mario Brothers, looking for ZPMs! It'd be great to see some of the first-season issues from the perspective of four seasons worth of canon.

You can absolutely do crossovers, presuming there's sufficient SGA content; the rule is simply not to abuse the audience, who is here for SGA first and foremost.

# 'Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral' Challenge:

A plethora of ways to take this one! Crazy alien not!animals? Rodney's cat? Harvest festivals? Coma patient? ZPM materials? Atlantis materials? A game of 20 questions? The possibilities...

# 'Unbirthday' Challenge:

An unbirthday is "an event that is typically celebrated on any of the 364 (or 365 days for a leap year) in which it is not the person's birthday" (from Through the Looking Glass/Alice in Wonderland.) So many days to choose, so many stories to write!

# 'Lost In Translation' Challenge:

Aliens who don't speak English? Troubles with Ancient translations? Miscommunication between the boys and/or other Atlantis personnel? Mistaken/hidden meanings? Bill Murray movie night? Plenty of opportunity for confusion, revelation, and subsequent making up.

What about an "outside perspective" challenge -- viewing our beloved characters through the lens of the people they visit for once, for example, or an character's understanding of another Atlantis relationship, or something of the sort.
