Cover art: 'Searching for love' by Dzurlady (Harlequin challenge)
After the challenge was extended for a week, I got bitten by a plot bunny on crack, and began to write. This is not that fic - there was no way I was going to be finished in time to post it - but it is the cover. 'Searching for Love' - a loving homage to bad romance covers everywhere.
With thanks to
delurker for beta viewing it.

This rocks so much, and I would totally read this book, even though I wouldn't normally read anything Harlequin-y at all.
Love the Pegasus imprint logo. It's the little details that put me in awe of the visual creativity of people in this challenge

That's why I had to say something, because they so do! (Which is really funny coming from someone busily engaged in co-writing an epic where they really don't act like siblings. Except those in VC Andrews novels.)
I will so pounce on your story whenever it's finished. I have become a total crackfic addict.

Yeah, that's the joy of SGA - there's so many different ways you can portray everyone, and it's still realistic.
(Yay for epic!)

It would be wonderful if you'd write this story for the new Harlequin community! :-)

Really? Thank you! It was incredibly good fun. And it's such an identifiable style it was easy to try and imitate, but I was really worried I'd get it wrong. I sat down and thought 'Oh, I'll just do a quick cover...' And then I posted it, several hours later. Yay for challenges that stay open longer than they were meant to!
And I have started writing it, but it's getting kinda huge so it might be awhile. :) I'm so happy that the comm started up so I have somewhere to post it! Plus, more cracked out harlequin-y goodness.

I really need bittersweet chocolate.

Airport bookstores would be much improved by the addition of gay romance novels. So would long plane trips. *wants* That would be very cool.
