This was fabulous -- John experiencing the dreams in Antarctica, Rodney dreaming himself younger and with more hair but then reverting when he believed Sheppard was real, the hot, hot sex, Rodney trusting Sheppard and letting him go. Very good read.

That was beautiful, start to finish. The idea itself was fascinating - to peek into Rodney's life, before, to see a moment like that, etched in his memory - but what grabbed me more than anything was the speed of the language when flashes of old dreams rolled through John's mind. The amalgam of sex dreams Rodney had had - that was hotter than a good many long, plotty fics I've read, all through implication and the way it stole their breath.

Just brilliant.

This was great. Loved the split-second flips that happen as John and then John/Rodney slip between dream scenes. And iit's so Rodney that "You're such an asshole," is the natural follow-up to "thanks!"
