Pay no attention to the wizard behind the... The Gods and Monster challenge is closed; you can read the 14 challenge stories here or using the Gods and Monsters tag.

(Note to size queens: this challenge produced several long stories...and one vid! Gods and Monsters, perhaps, suggesting the epic and the ridiculous!)

New challenge coming right up.

[livejournal.com profile] lim suggested a Team Challenge that isn't any old team challenge: "Could be gen teamfic, or OT4, or could be you team up *with* someone to do the challenge."

That's right: you can write ABOUT the team, or you yourself can write AS a team; team up with another writer, an artist, a vidder, etc. to make a piece of collaborative work.

In the comments, [livejournal.com profile] mad_maudlin noted that she was struck by "Rodney's line about "the b-team" in "The Seed." "So," she asks, "maybe in line with [livejournal.com profile] lim's suggestion, could we do a B-Team Challenge? What happens when John, Rodney, Teyla, Ronon and our other heroes are out of commission and down for the count? Who else gets to step in and save the day?"

So consider that a reminder that you can write about any team; it needn't be Sheppard's team. Your team can include: "Zelenka, Lorne, Chuck, Banks, Biro, Marx, Major Taldy's whole team, assorted Athosians..."

It's November 7th; stories will be due November 21 by midnight eastern.

We've had a request: if you are looking for a partner (writing, art, vidding, whatever) to work with for the Team Challenge, leave a comment or claim someone who's commented.

(Remember, you don't have to work in a team; feel free to write, vid, draw a solo piece on the theme of Team.)
