The character he encounters in this tale, Lena Dorian, has nothing to do with Melena--she came with the name when she was created for a SGA roleplay scenario. The name similarity is a random coincidence, though it amuses me. (But I'm easily amused.) And if you really want to know why "Melena" should have at least been spelled differently, go ahead and Google it. Not for the medically faint of heart. :)
