The Season One Amnesty is now officially over. You may find 43 assorted challenge stories here.

Policy Notice: We've had a couple of cases of negative comments on stories, and just to be clear, critical comments are allowed here, and so is responding to them and arguing/debating. However, if you feel someone is actually flaming (i.e. attacking an author rather than debating the merits of a story), please do not engage in a meta debate with them. Instead, either ignore them or ping one of the admins, and let us deal with it. We don't want an author to end up with long meta debate in her comments that's not about her story. Thanks!

Now--on with the show! New challenge coming right up!

Title: Communication
Author: [livejournal.com profile] coreopsis
Rating: G
Sheppard/McKay preslash
Spoilers: Season 2 episodes 1 & 2
Notes: written for the Blood Challenge, the First Contact Challenge, and to cheer up my friend [livejournal.com profile] nemoinis. Really fantastic beta job by [livejournal.com profile] kageygirl for the whole thing and [livejournal.com profile] malnpudl for the first half (she gave me entire lines, people. She rocks). Neither is to blame for the lame title, though. that's all me and my last minute lameness. *g*

Title: Pinpricks
by [livejournal.com profile] ladyjestyr

Challenge: Amnesty Challenge; Darkness
Rating: G
Category: gen
Word Count: a teeny 600-word ficlet
Spoilers: Episode tag for 2x02, "The Intruder"
Summary: Even for an astrophysicist, stars aren't meant to be this close.
Disclaimer: Characters: not mine. Don't sue, I'm poor.
Notes: Originally a concept for the Darkness challenge, which mutated totally after seeing The Intruder. Unbetaed, since I'm still looking for an SGA beta and wanted to get this in before the deadline. [Which I've probably missed, but my time-zone-fu is weak.]

A/N Inspired by Honeymoon Suite's Love Fever. (I know, I know, kind of an insipid title, but it's a perfect song for the pairing.) I wanted to make a video, but don't have the equipment or knowledge, so I wrote this instead.

Challenge: Amnesty (ESP, 38 Minutes)
Rating: G
Pairing: McKay/Zelenka, if you want it to be
Summary: Radek understood him.
Words: 100

Title: Grey
Author: The Moonmoth
Challenge: Season One Amnesty (38 Minutes)
Summary: Like a ghost, like a soul, like a sympathy.
Words: ~600
Characters: Emmagan
Notes: I've been wanting to try something for the 38 minutes challenge since I first heard about it, way back before I even joined the community. I write incredibly slowly, so this was a real challenge for me. This took 34 mins. plus a little time to edit and generally make coherent. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Due to popular demand--and the continuing deluge of good fic being posted; way to go, guys!--we're extending the Amnesty for an additional week. The Amnesty will now expire on July 26th at midnight.

Challenge: Amnesty (Swimming)
Title: The Good Kid
Author: Julad.
Pairing: Um.... Ford/OFC. *covers face*

Yeah, yeah, trust me, I can't believe I'm posting this either. Actually, I dreamed one of the scenes in this, months ago, and I think it was actually while the Swimming challenge was running, but I just didn't have time to turn it into a story. Today I had time, and Siege III made me want to write about Ford. ETA: oh, yeah, and I tried but failed to write this in 38 minutes. *g*

Title: The Human Condition
Author: Alizarin (alizarin_nyc)

Rating: NC-17-lite
Spoilers: None to speak of
Pairing: McKay/Sheppard
Notes: This started off as one story written for the “slavefic” challenge at SGA_flashfic on Live Journal. Later chapters were inspired by past challenges found at SGA_flashfic and are titled accordingly. Some liberties are taken with the challenges, and for that I apologize. Mistakes are all mine, please point them out so I can make amends and/or ritual sacrifice.

If you've already read "The Human Condition" for the slavefic challenge, you can scroll to the next part, "Abandonment."

Note: Amnesty, 38 minute challenge, and voyeurism too.
Warnings: This is what happens when everyone in #primenotprime is like, 38 minute challenge! and I'm like, not me! I do it anyway. And it's pure sap like I haven't written since three fandoms ago. But for once, it's flashfic length, 870 words. Go me, and thanks [livejournal.com profile] kaneko!
