You are 12!! *laughs* And I love your own private fanon: we don't know that April was Rodney's first girlfriend; we don't even know if she was a girlfriend of any stripe! Ah, the power of the April... I tell you. April Bingham was the first person I felt moved to write when I first discovered SGA canon; it's just taken me some time to get back to her. :-) As soon as McKay said the words 'April Bingham', I glomped. (And immediately had Dominic Monaghan pop into my head, as is his wont; so I made the icon but that's not really the April in this story.)
I am smiling at the notion that this April will be fanon but, on the other hand, as this is the only April fic I've ever found, it kinds of sits on a monopoly. *looks around expectantly, waiting for further Binghams*
