This one seemed to be the only one that no one liked, ah well, can't win them all. ^_^
I was just thinking that out of everyone, Rodney is the only one who could be dark when he had to be without it breaking him somehow. Because he knows he can do better. He's the only one that can look at impossible situations and realize they are impossible... and make the choices that have to follow. He’s already broken twice, and each time he’s come out stronger. I don't think he'll break again.
I don't think Elizabeth or John could really deal with that kind of stress on a perpetual basis without cracking. They both seem to fall into guiltily reminiscing too much. Ronon and Teyla both have things that hold them back from really putting Atlantis first, but Rodney really doesn’t have anything to stop him.
Besides, if she needs a Lancelot to save her from Arthur, who else would do it?
Meh, anywho, it was a fun plotbunny to play with, even if it turned out to be a dud. ^_^
