*Nods* Like I said in the author's notes, the ATA-S concept is something I've been noodling around with for a while. I just can't believe that there wouldn't be side effects for those who've been in contact with the tech for years and suddenly stop.
It's a minor subplot in A Mother's Regret, the middle and only unpublished portion of the Dark Mother Trilogy. That'll be going up eventually, it's just been a weird month. I've been moved to DC since mid-June, and have yet to have a normal 7 day stretch yet.
Essentially the ATA-S theory (as I've come to call it) has been seeping into a bunch of my stuff over the last little while - one of my own personal fanons I guess you'd say - although the severity of the symptoms and their longevity varies greatly.
