Exactly! Most keep making his past too dark and too, well, "nasty" sometimes. A past that should actually have him one twisted individual instead of the caring guy that he is. I'll admit that I've sometimes given into the "daddy-issues" thing, but I at least try to give him a decent mom of the kind that would have inspired him to be the man that he is today.
