Been waiting for the admin post since I had a few challenge suggestions--not that I begrudged more time for the Amnesty! More fic = good.

Here are a few thoughts that struck me recently:

Point of View: Everyone sees things differently, be it across the table, through the gate, or on the other side of the debate, argument, or (quantum) mirror.

Addiction/Habit: We all need (or think we need) to do certain things, whether it's learned or imposed. From coffee to nail-biting to Ancient-tech-induced intoxication. (Say, maybe an "Intoxication" challenge on its own.)

Puzzle: Riddles, jigsaws, confusing interpersonal issues, things that make you go "hmmm..."

Reversal: Switches, switching, going back, twists of fate, role-reversal in work, love, play...

And, a bit of a crack challenge:

Cavanagh (or Kavanaugh, or whatever): We love to hate him. Bit part, main part, plot device, misunderstood, total bastard... and how many different first names can you come up with? (I am partial to the fanon Calvin, though.)

Sorry for the plethora, I got bored at work a while back and sat around thinking about this, and what kinda stuff I'd like to read fic about. I'll shut up now and go back to lurking.

Inspired by Vala's line in Avalon 1, "We had a lot of fun searching each other, didn't we, boys?" I would like to propose a challenge involving suspicion of indentity theft or possession of contraband results in a search of someone's person or premises. Depending on how personally the participants take it, this can range from angst to farce, gen/het/slash of any rating...just get them searching each other! :D

How about a kid fic? It can be physcial, mental, or a mixture of both to learn a lesson, as punishment, or for some other reason and either a temporary or permanant transformation.

To add to this now that I've been attacked by rabid plot bunnies- aliens could rip off the Atlantis people in trade negotiations or vice versa, someone could rip off someone else's ideas, they could find what they think is ancient tech like a ZPM but it turns out to be a rip off by another race, maybe a big explosion could rip off a part of the city... Just lots of things being ripped off. Now let's get back to Shep and Rodney ripping off each other's clothes :).

I liked the body switching idea myself. :) Actually all the challenge ideas are great but I really have a thing for people switching bodies in TV shows and I'd love to see more fan fiction covering this topic. :)
