This is cover art for a story that will never be written. At least, not by me. This challenge has had the same effect on me that it's had on all you guys, except I haven't had the time to write out all the rampaging story ideas running through my head. However... I did have enough time to make cheesy cover art for one of the 'it's eating my braiiiin' plot bunnies.

I know what you mean about being behind in your reading. I've been opening every new story in a new tab, and by lunchtime, I had sixteen tabs open. I'm down to five now, and that's after spending most of the afternoon vegging in front of the pooter.

Heh, the ISBN and the barcode only went on there because I ran out of cheesy blurb, and larger text looked wrong. Necessity is the mother of invention!

That is a very lovely piece of cover art. The mental images it inspires are really very distracting from my attempts at writing. I wish I could do a piece of cover art like that. The mood it sets, next to the blurb, makes my fingers itch to read it.
I hope you'll reconsider writing that plot bunny. It sounds absolutely fascinating. And even if it is a shaky one, I'd be happy to be able to read to where ever it happens to have fallen through.
