I still remember how bewildered I was when confronted with the grits. What was I supposed to do with this? Then I watched (actually, stared) at a gentleman at another table. He mixed a sunny-side egg and tobasco sauce into his grits and ate them. Is that how they're supposed to work? I just ate them.
And corn syrup dyed brown for pancakes is just wrong.
