Stargate Atlantis Flashfiction

I had the basic idea for this story in my head for over a year, believe it or not. I was fascinated by the idea of a Pegasus death-cult, because in a galaxy that is so closely in touch with mortality, it seemed unlikely that there would be none.

And, do they make it to the gate ... they might. But, as I said above: even if? If they don't die on Earth or are completely incinerated in their death, they will come back there. And that, to me, is the true horror.
