For the secret superpower challenge.

John rubbed at the rapidly-fading red spots on his neck as he left the infirmary. It still hurt, but Beckett assured him he had recovered fully. Damn bug. Thank God that was over.

He was almost to his quarters when the thought occurred to him. After checking the corridor in both directions to make sure nobody was in sight, he pressed his palms against the wall and lightly jumped up.

And slid right back down.

Oh well, he thought. I guess that only happens in comics.

Besides, it would have been so embarrassing to ask Rodney to make him web-shooters.

John is a silly, silly boy...not only would Rodney have been happy to have made him web-shooters, he also would have badgered Carson into making an artificial version of whatever caused the effect so that he could have neato superpowers too.... and additionally, the whole science team would have pooled their resources to create a nifty costume and gadgets and Super!Shep-mobile...oh, wait, that's the Jumper, isn't it?
