Oh wow. This was achingly beautiful and painful all at the same time. I enjoyed the spin you took with the challenge, separating the superpower from the secret like that.
I don't get to read many good gen stories, and very few gen or friendship themed Teyla/John ones. Your portrail of the characters felt so real and so possible and so... touchable.
