Sorry to confuse. He wasn't restrained for having a healing superpower. He was restrained because they thought he was mutilating himself. They didn't know he had a superpower when they restrained him. I've reread a few times and I think I've figured out why you ask this. It isn't because of what I included but what I didn't include. I worked so hard to stay in Ronon's pov and not show things he wouldn't notice and not say things he wouldn't think that I didn't show enough of John and Carson's reactions to prevent reader misinterpretation. It's a toughie. This scene would read very differently from one of their points of view. Thanks for commenting. Hope to do better next time.
