Stargate Atlantis Flashfiction

This is very solid. John can be difficult to grasp because while he obviously cares very much for his people and seems a poster child for survivor's guilt, he also plays everything very close and doesn't really emote or share what he's going through. You do a fantastic job of, even though this is John's PoV giving us his state of mind more from how others are seeing and interacting with him.

I particularly like this bit:
He sits up in bed, the clack of sticks still ringing in his head.

That one sentence speaks volumes.
