siegeofangels suggested an "Ancient History" challenge, and notes, "There could be stories about the Ancients, or stories about history, or stories about ancient (Ancient) history." Backstories are also welcome, presuming they're stories about events that the characters might themselves consider, well: ancient history.

It's February 2 by my watch; stories will be due Saturday February 16th at midnight eastern.
