Funnily enough, I was working on this one before the challenge was announced. It's part of my

flashfic100 series (previous parts are linked behind the cut), but I think all you need to know is that Lorne has been working with McKay and Zelenka on a project, bonding nicely with Zelenka. Lorne is going back to settle the estate of his parents, and Zelenka's sister needed an operation, meaning he left Atlantis in a hurry.
