ADMIN POST: The Dangling Challenge

Yeah, we can do that! You've got a week or so to work on a Dangling Challenge. YES, you may interpret that broadly. We care little for who or what dangles and from what or whom or--shit, look, I'm under a lot of stress, here, okay? Dangle something!

It's--what is it, Thursday? Stories are due next Thursday at midnight eastern, or nearabouts.

I was thinking "abandonment." Not just someone being abandoned or having abandonment issues, although that would be cool, but also stuff like, "wild abandon." I guess I'd like to see some wild abandon. (No, I'm not having dreams of taking off for Vegas and living for a week in a martini-shaped hot-tub. Why do you ask?)

Ancient Abandonment Apparatus! As in, if you come in contact with it, you abandon the quality that is hindering you the most. Kavanagh touches it and becomes a prince charming :P Or the poor girl in big glasses starts bossing Rodney around. :)

Uhm, I don't know if this is really a suggest, but I just finished Fic in a Barrel (http://www.eternalvox.net/barrel/) and thought maybe you could do a challenge with that ^^*
