About 35 minutes writing and the rest doing a tidy-up to it :-)

This was first conceived of in a conversation between myself, [livejournal.com profile] alyse and [livejournal.com profile] davechicken in a 'Wouldn't it be funny if...' kind of way. This is the result.

Title: To engage in a quarrel; dispute
Author: Misto
Challenge: 38 minutes
Pairing: McKay/Sheppard
Rating: PG
Summary: Argue - v. intr. - To engage in a quarrel; dispute.
Authors Note: Closer to 39 or 40 minutes of writing if I'm honest. It took a great deal of will power to make the darn thing stop. Er, unbeta'd, you have been warned. Also, my first attempt at SGA fic, as I've only been in this fandom a couple weeks and seen a grand total of 7 episodes randomly spaced throughout the season (granted, I've seen those 7 repeatedly). I just couldn't deny the pull of the challenge!

Title: Nope. My beta always gives me titles, and this hasn't been betaed.
Author: MaisieRita
Rating: R for language only
Pairing/Characters: Sheppard, McKay, vaguely McShep 'coz I'm obsessed
Spoilers: Siege II
Warnings: Many run on sentences and lots of ellipsises
Disclaimer: Not mine more than any other obsessions have been. ::sniff::
Summary: Thoughts before the end
Notes: I don't know what one is supposed to do when the clock runs out on the 38 minutes and one is still typing. Either stop in the middle of a thought, which didn't seem especially appealing, or continue typing and glance at the clock in aggravation as time continues to tick. Now, I suppose I could lie and say I finished this in 38 minutes, but I didn't. It was 49 minutes. Sorry, sorry! I do better with 60-minute challenges. Really. :)

First SGA fic (pubicly posted, at least) so be kind. :)

Title: Remembrance
Author: Kiara Sayre
Length: 1,161 words
Challenge: 38 Minutes
Category: Gen
Rating: Mature content--violence, a few swear words, drinking
Summary: Some days are made for remembrance.

Notes: Can be read with or without my other 38 Minutes entry, 'Ankhs'. Makes a bit more sense with, but can be a standalone, too. Takes place two days after the events of "Hot Zone". Written in 37 minutes.

There's things I remember, things I forget... )

Title: Above Knee
Authors: Casspeach
Challenge: 38 Minutes (37 mins to write, one to read through, hence weirdness of title)

Pairing: Beckett/Zelenka (very much integral to story but offscreen established relationship)
Rating: PG-12 for theme, maybe
Summary: He missed surgery when he went into genetics.
Note from the author: Just thinking about Carson's job and how hard it would be sometimes.
