A/N: This challenge seems to feed my gen angsty pre-series bunnies! (Maybe it wants me to get all of them out and finally write slash!) It's the second one I finished for the challenge, squeaking dangerously close to the deadline. Hopefully it's not against the rules to post more then one answer... Also, I know nothing whatsoever about the Army/AF aircraft, guns or whatnot, so there's probably a ton of mistakes in here, and I didn't have time to get this betaed, so there might be creative grammar, too. Please feel free to point out the mistakes!
