The Supernatural challenge has been banished by the shining light of rationality and the onset of the Enlightenment; you can read the 19 challenge entries here or using the supernatural challenge tag.

New challenge coming right up.

I'm stealing the title from [livejournal.com profile] crysothemis's Ways To Die in the Pegasus Galaxy but the challenge prompt really comes from [livejournal.com profile] seperis, who said:
...so it's probably either wrong or in bad taste to have a creativity in death SGA challenge, isn't it?

I don't know. I was thinking of finding the top ten most obscure ways to die and challenge on it. Say, death by sea urchin. Attacked by a polar bear. Shoelaces. Death by chocolate.

It's totally a mood.
It's a mood all right, and I dig it; (it's my gothy, Smiths and Cure-centric adolescence talking.) Anyway, you aren't limited to the Pegasus galaxy (earth stories welcome!) and nobody has to die--we're happy with near-deaths and almost-deaths, because close totally counts in horseshoes and handgrenades. It can be other people's deaths, long-ago deaths, spiritual deaths, metaphorical deaths, heat death, or hey, for you wags out there--dice games. THAT BEING SAID, there might be DEATH STORIES IN THIS CHALLENGE.

Let me say again: THERE MIGHT BE DEATH STORIES IN THIS CHALLENGE. IT'S A "WAYS TO DIE" CHALLENGE, and while you are welcome to post a death-warning, or welcome to certify your story 100% death free, or welcome to state it's not major character death or whatever else you'd like, we don't require you to warn.

Let me say that again: WE DON'T REQUIRE YOU TO WARN.

So caveat lector; if you're worried, don't click on a story that doesn't have a death warning, because of how this is a "WAYS TO DIE" challenge.

It's November 9th by my watch; this challenge will be open until November 23 at midnight eastern.

Edited to change my userpic, because if I don't use my Death icon here, where would I...?"
