Thanks. I heard that someone on the Sheppard/Weir yahoo group came up with it because she thought Shweir sounded horrible (to which I totally agree!). Whether this person has ever seen any Farscape, though, I don't know.

Shweir does sound horrible, although I'm biased because I think name combinations are stupid in general. But it's not like Sheppard/Weir is too long to type out or anything.

I'd go with the person hadn't seen Farscape, just because it seems like hearing Sparky and thinking Rygel would throw one out of the shippy mood. :D
