DADT is "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," the policy under which gay members of the American armed forces are supposed to be allowed to serve so long as they do not give any visible or audible indication of their orientation, and their commanders are supposed not to ask them about it. "DL" then would be "Don't Look," specifically at who is coming out of whose bedroom and when.

And I just wish it could be like this in rl -- soldiers who respect their superior officers so much that DADT is obsolete and pointless. There could be a new policy: Everyone knows, no one cares. EKNOC is much somewhat more catchy than DADT, right? :-D
