I have to add, since apparently I wasn't coherent enough to say it before, that what really *got* me about this card is that you didn't say "risked my life" or "risked my physical health" or "went through hellish withdrawal," or anything like that--you said "risked my mind," because, just. Yes. That, right there, is what tells you it's Rodney's, more than anything else; and, oh, it makes my heart ache for him.

Oh, thank you for coming back and adding this, because it's exactly what I wanted to emphasise. Rodney sees his mind as the most, if not the only, valuable part of him - to risk it in this way was probably one of the bravest things he had done in his history of being brave when it counted. I hope, off-screen, his team found out about this and aperciated the risk he took.
