ADMIN POST the NTH: Post Secret Challenge
Feb. 12th, 2006 04:59 pmOkay, so, that was like whoa.
Let's try this again.
Obviously, we didn't expect the wild enthusiasm for the postcard part of this, and we've just met to figure out how to not stop the fun while also not driving people crazy.
So here's what we came up with! We're splitting up!
Postcard responses to the Post Secret Challenge should now be posted to
sga_post_secret community--this will allow those of us who nuts for them to friend the community, and others of us to just check in when they feel like it without having their friends' list disrupted. (YES, you may repost your responses from here to there; in fact, we encourage you; however, reposted entries must be marked REPOST in the subject line so that people who've been following along here don't see things they've already seen. Also please bundle your responses together in one post, rather than posting them all separately.) The rules we've established here also apply there: please cut tag, please try to give us some sense of how many images within and such, bunch up if at all possible. Try to be as courteous as possible. )
Fictional responses to the challenge--including fiction based on postcards--should be posted to
sga_flashfic. If you have a postcard as a cover, or if a postcard inspired your story, please LINK to but do not post the image to the community. (i.e. So no < img src > tags.) Post the IMAGE to
sga_post_secret.
We'll see how this works! Hopefully we can have the best of both worlds and please everyone!
Edited to add: Moderation is off, go back to normal!
