John raises his hand against the glare of sunlight singing on the desert of glass. When the MALP compensates, he lets his hand fall heavily to his side.
"Wrong number?"
Behind him Rodney is silent, mouth slack and wordless.
"Atlantis to Stargate Command," Gibbons repeats with mechanical doggedness.
Elizabeth closes her eyes.
Out of the heat shimmer, a figure resolves, grey and opal, unblinking. "Welcome, friends," he says. "Blessed are the Ori."
