Summary: Sheppard’s lips were red, ghoulish in the dancing firelight and Rodney closed his eyes against the sight.
It was the drugs the natives had slipped into their drinks that had made them do it. Rodney knew it, knew it the moment he saw his team’s eyes, pupils blown to hell and goofy grins of people high on something pretty fucking potent plastered across their faces. That didn’t mean he didn’t try and put up a fight, using every technique he could remember the three of them showing him. But as they’d been his teachers it was a foregone conclusion that he wouldn’t be able to stop them.
The hut was small, dark and the incense that filled the night air felt suffocating inside its thatched walls. He tried to reason with them, telling them they’d wake up regretting it until his voice turned hoarse and he began pleading, begging them to stop. The fire from outside glinted off Ronon’s blade and Rodney swallowed thickly, blinking back tears and trying to steady his breathing.
And then Sheppard was there, leaning over him with a dorky grin that at any other time might have amused Rodney but right now terrified him. “Colonel, please,” he tried again. But John’s eyes were focused on Rodney’s lips, not the words he was saying. When he bent down, tracing Rodney’s lips with his tongue, Rodney’s whole body shuddered and he turned away. A firm hand gripped his chin, pulling him back to Sheppard’s mouth.
Hands were on his clothes, unbuckling, unzipping, unbuttoning; pulling and pushing until he was lying naked, his wrists and ankles held firm by his teammates’ hands. The people he was supposed to trust, the ones who were supposed to protect him.
The first cut had him arching off the floor, screaming his throat raw even as Sheppard petted him, tried to sooth him with nonsense whispered in Rodney’s ear. The pain was unending—sharp and biting, dull and throbbing and he whimpered when the first mouth covered the shallow cuts, sucking; a slow excruciating ache emanating from each patch of skin covered by a mouth, lapped at by a tongue, nipped by teeth.
They weren’t meant to be deep, just enough to draw blood. Each took turns, delicately carving the intricate designs—ancient power symbols according to the natives—into Rodney’s skin. They wouldn’t even leave a scar, most likely, not that that eased the pain for Rodney. Not that it would wipe away their guilt once the drugs wore off.
Sheppard’s lips were red, ghoulish in the dancing firelight and Rodney closed his eyes against the sight. His stomach churned, his head throbbing. It felt like hours since they’d started...but Rodney couldn’t be sure anymore. His body was covered in blood, from his shoulders to his feet. He could feel Ronon and Teyla hovering in the background, Sheppard, still at his side.
Rodney cried out, the remaining strength in his voice fading, as each of his teammates curled around him, Sheppard beside him, stroking a hand down his chest, sending shocks of pain throughout every nerve, until as one they passed out.
Rodney never closed his eyes.

Date: 2008-03-11 07:34 pm (UTC)I love how out of control the team is, and how Rodney can only fight them so much, though he tries. My own impression is that McKay is someone who's been betrayed a lot; I am wondering how (if) he will recover from this one.
I would be eternally grateful if you could link the continuation.

Date: 2008-03-11 08:59 pm (UTC)At the moment, this story isn't finished and the only other chapter I wrote isn't currently online. I've been trying to finish it for a while. If I ever actually manage it, it will be posted to Wraithbait. :)
