For the secret superpower challenge.

John rubbed at the rapidly-fading red spots on his neck as he left the infirmary. It still hurt, but Beckett assured him he had recovered fully. Damn bug. Thank God that was over.

He was almost to his quarters when the thought occurred to him. After checking the corridor in both directions to make sure nobody was in sight, he pressed his palms against the wall and lightly jumped up.

And slid right back down.

Oh well, he thought. I guess that only happens in comics.

Besides, it would have been so embarrassing to ask Rodney to make him web-shooters.

Hee! That's hilarious, and also so something that I would do if I was in his position. Please let Rodney or Ford have seen that, just for the endless teasing that would ensue.

Ford would tease. Rodney would try to decide whether it was worth getting bitten himself, so HE could have superpowers, too.
