Sheppard would probably have noticed (and remembered) Rodney attempting to "drive his bus" unless sex ruined by phimosis qualifies as "hideous and intimate". Which it probably does, but not necessarily in that way.
If they're in contact with Earth, Rodney just might cut off a body part in order to be with Col. Carter if she gave him the slightest encouragement. Of course, that's a big if since she usually has her hands full *discouraging* him.
So what does that leave? Rodney and Rod comparing, ahem, "rods"? We are post-MaMM.
